Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

Purpose:

To develop new methods of protecting composite tissues from ischemia/reperfusion injury.

 

 Research Focus:

Investigate ischemic preconditioning and exogenous energy delivery as methods to reverse ischemia/reperfusion injury in composite tissue transplantation.
