Iain Whitaker MA Cantab, MRCS
Dr. Iain
Whitaker is a Plastic Surgery Specialist Registrar from the
United Kingdom. He received his MD degree from the
University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, where he also
obtained the degrees of Bachelors and Masters of Arts. Iain
completed his subinternship in plastic surgery at Harvard
Medical School, USA, followed by Internship at the
University of Cambridge in the UK. After serving as an
anatomy instructor at the University of Cambridge, he
completed his general surgery residency in the Yorkshire
School of Surgery, and subsequently became a Member of the
Royal College of Surgeons. Iain is currently training in
Plastic Surgery at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic
Surgery in the UK and has a special interest in trauma,
microsurgical reconstruction and burn injuries. He is
committed to clinical plastic surgery research, and has
published widely in the general plastic surgery literature.
He regularly peer reviews for the Annals of Plastic Surgery
